It has been said that experience is a good teacher! some even say the best
It has been said that experience is a good teacher, some even say the best. If that is indeed true, my wife Ruth and I have learned some valuable lessons in our more than 80 years of life, our 65 years of marriage, and our 54 years of living in the same house. One thing experience taught us is that when facing a situation where our own experience is not adequate and positive results is not just desired, but absolutely required, we should seek someone with the experience, expertise and knowledge to tackle the project for us. We had lived in the same house 54 years. It had a basement, a big yard and plenty of room to raise our children and enjoy the blessing of good neighbors, good health for a long time, and a welcoming and nurturing church. But age and declining health made it necessary for us to downsize, and that meant finding someone to lead us through the legalities, rules, regulations and technicalities of buying a new home and selling our home during a cool down time for the housing market. We chose Pam Files as our leader. But instead of being an Executive Director of our project, she became a member of our team, making us comfortable and confident, as we relied on her experience, knowledge of the process, and expertise in areas where we had no clue. First, she listened. Then she explained, suggested and kept us fully informed throughout the buying and selling process. She was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and professional in all our dealings. Pam was a joy to work with. She worked hard. And she got results. I can only say that 54 years from now, if Pam hasn’t retired, we will definitely use her again to sell our single level garden home. And we have no reservationsIn recommending Pam Files to sell yours.
