About Paiwen

I grew up in Taiwan but graduated with a Master Degree in Education from Michigan State U. Teaching was my passion before I went into real estate business. I had more than 10 year experience in teaching English and Mandarin Chinese. After married Bill, I devoted my time in raising our son, substitute teaching and volunteering in schools while Bill was busy travelling all over Europe and Asia for work. Bill was born in Plattsburgh, New York. Hold an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology from Erie Community College and BS in Business Management from SUNY Buffalo. He is a retired corporate executive with 35+ years experience in domestic and international management with excellent negotiation skills. He is also a Vietnam Veteran and a 30+ year member in the American Legion. Most important he is a very devoted husband and father. In 2006 we moved to Carolina Forest from Edgewater, Maryland after Bill retired. We love the weather and low cost of living in Grand Strand plus many county/city recreational facilities available to citizens, plenty of tennis courts and golf course, and all the great water activities along the 60 miles sandy beach Myrtle Beach has offered. We began our real estate career as the Buckley Team in 2012. Love helping people buy or sell their properties. We have helped many Chinese speaking clients overcome language barrier and guided them through every step of home purchasing process from applying for mortgage, searching properties, negotiating contract , home inspection, closing, all the way to switching utilities to their names and applying for primary residence property tax rate. Working with them is like purchasing our own home plus language translation. We are honored our clients put their faith in us.
