Highly recommend Paddy Kehoe and Team at Compass! We used them to purchase our first home and more recently for our forever home. This time the sellers were a bit more challenging but Brittany took the time to manage expectations and was in constant communication between their agent and our lender. She is beyond responsive, even after we moved in to ensure that the transition went smoothly. We are so appreciative of her professionalism and attention to our asks! We also sold our house that we purchased 5 years ago with Paddy. Since then we used his thoughtful expertise to make certain improvements to the home over the years that added tremendous value. We had some unique circumstances when selling that Paddy was able to sort out timely. His staging team also did a phenomenal job and quickly too. Compass has a concierge service to front the costs for presale improvements with no interest or fees so it's hassle free. It just gets deducted from proceeds of the home afterwards. There was a very clear timeline of all the events from improvements, cleaning, photography, marketing etc. Communication was clear and would go through them again in a heartbeat. Most importantly, they are trustworthy and really in touch with their clients' needs.

We are so grateful for Paddy Kehoe and his Compass Realty team for the amazing work they did in selling our home in Pleasant Hill. They took great care of all the paperwork and fine details that are necessary to get the house ready to list. Paddy recommended that we list our house at the low end of the market value, saying we would get much more interest with the lower price, which could lead to multiple bids. He then arranged to have one week after listing for showings of the house and told those signing up for showings that they needed to get their bids in at the end of that week. He was able to get over 70 people to sign up for showings in that one week. He said that having lots of people looking at the house would let them realize that there was a lot of interest and if they were really interested, they needed to get a strong bid in at the end of that week. As he predicted, we received eight bids at the end of the week, all over the asking price. The highest bid was $230,000 over the asking price with the only contingency that the appraisal come in at or about the bid price. Paddy explained all the bids to us and recommended that we take the highest bid, which we did. We were just blown away with the response and to see that everything turned out just as Paddy explained that it would. The appraisal came in at the highest bid price and everything went as planned, with the closing happening just 25 days after accepting the bid. Paddy and his team handled all the closing paperwork and details, making is so easy for us to just sit back and let them do everything. We cannot say enough good things about Paddy and his team. Back in August, 2019, my husband and I hired Paddy Kehoe to handle the sale of our home in Lafayette, California. We chose Paddy in part because of the great reviews, but it was meeting him in person that really convinced us. He's one of the nicest and most competent people you would hope to take care of something this important. It turned out that we were right: hiring Paddy was one of the best decisions we ever made. Our situation was a bit challenging: we needed Paddy to handle everything about the house sale while we were out of the country, since we had moved to Amsterdam (Netherlands). In fact, when we met Paddy, we had returned to California for a few days to pack up our house and ship a few things back to Amsterdam. From that point on, Paddy took care of everything. We didn't want to put the house on the market until the following spring, since our (adult) daughter was staying there, and of course, we had no idea that a major pandemic would turn the world upside down in the interim. By the time our daughter had moved out, the shelter-in-place had started, and we were worried about not being able to sell. But Paddy pulled it off, and he got us a great price. Throughout, Paddy was totally accessible, promptly returning emails and phone calls. He cared about our home sale as if it were his own. We can't recommend him highly enough. He's awesome!
