It was daunting for my wife and I to go through the renovation, sale and then purchasing process but they made it as stress free as possible and delivered on everything. Oliver is a tremendous real estate agent. He helped me sell and buy a home. During the first conversation we had about selling my home, he asked "what is your primary goal in selling your home?" A simple question, but we'd used a real estate agent in the past in an attempt to sell this home, but we were unsuccessful despite 30+ showings in 45 days. My response to Oliver's question, was "I want to sell my home for the most amount of money, with as few showings as possible, with the least amount of renovations." Oliver has many connections, and effectively acted as our general contractor for all the renovations. He coordinated exterior paint, new flooring and carpet, and granite countertops. I priced these items out personally, and with Oliver's connections these renovations were completed for a fraction of the cost. When we listed the home, the first person to see our home put in an offer, which was within the first 12 hours of listing. We received 4 additional offers that day, and ultimately sold the house for above asking price. He surpassed all expectations for the selling process. During the buying process, Oliver was extremely flexible to take us to showings and extremely knowledgeable of the area. He showed us several houses with very little notice, and truly understood exactly what we were looking for. We ultimately ended up in an amazing house which again was a great process with Oliver. Oliver served as our buyer's agent when we decided to leave our Midtown highrise for a home in the Georgia foothills. Over the years, we've worked with many agents to buy and sell property, from NC to FL to GA, but we've NEVER worked with anyone more professional, personable, knowledgeable, or dedicated than Oliver Sumrall. Oliver knows the area well, and has particular expertise when it comes to new construction -- he knows the builders, what distinguishes the good ones, and how the new construction "game is played." In addition, he achieves the rare and perfect balance of listening to his clients while also being direct and honest when he feels guidance/advice is warranted. Oliver was right beside us during every step of our rather long process of finding the right home. Actually, that's NOT true; there was one important day when he was there WITHOUT US! When it turned out we couldn't be physically present on the day it suddenly and unexpectedly came down to our instantly going under contract on our dream home or losing it to another interested party literally standing in line, Oliver spent hours handling the purchase for us -- intermittently texting and calling us, and making sure we understood all our e-docs before signing. There's probably never been a more FULL-SERVICE agent than Oliver. He pays meticulous attention to every construction AND contractual detail, always negotiating and fighting for his client's best interest.
