We thought we would retire in the home we just sold, but Norma helped us find a new dream. I approached her with a hypothetical dream of "what if we had more land?", and she made it happen. And she did it with ease! Even though it's considered not the best time to buy due to rates, Norma was able to partner with Adam Israel (lender) who both showed us how dreams can come true in this economy. Throughout the entire process, Norma went above and beyond to be readily available. While most agents are wonderful with timely client communication, she is ALSO incredible at agent-to-agent communication. And that is such an important part of a smooth transaction!! This is one of the many reasons why Norma stands out. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and patient with our detailed questions and concerns. Our purchase was contingent on the sale of our (current) home, and the sellers had an extremely tight timeline. We had around two and half weeks to have our home listed and an accepted offer. Norma's assessment of our property and its value was spot on. Just ten hours after listing, we had an offer over asking price. Being relatively new to the industry, we were very impressed with her ability to think outside the box during negotiations, and confidently rattle off procedures and options at every turn. Our buyers were FHA, and she partnered beautifully with the lender to oversee those tight restrictions. There were a couple of times we feared it was going to fall apart. Norma never wavered. She was always positive, always full of sound advice, and always fighting for us. Our sellers were also purchasing a new home contingent on their sale to us! So many transactions complicatedly wrapped up into a tight timeline, and yet we all closed upon the agreed closing date. It doesn't get much better than that! Norma helped me to purchase a home in Garibaldi, Oregon this summer. I experienced very positive outcomes working with Norma and I highly recommend her.As it turned out, inspection reports showed problems with the home. Thankfully, Norma remained positive and exhibited very good communication skills with the seller's realtor which resulted in a significant reduction in price to allow for completion of the repairs and maintenance work needed. Without the price reduction I would not have been able to purchase the home and pay for repairs. Currently the work is starting and it is very exciting to know the home will be buttoned up for the wet and windy coastal weather ahead this fall and winter. Norma was good at working with my lender, title company and myself to keep the purchase timelines on track and in recommending reputable professionals to work with for the inspection reports. Also, when I was trying to find a home to purchase on the north Oregon coast, I didn't live here. Norma brought remote tours to me through facetime technology with was very helpful as I could look at the place through her camera's lense and ask questions along the way. Norma is a delight to work with! She is super knowledgeable about the Oregon coast and was very responsive every time we reached out to her. We saw homes with her in person and via video, where she was extremely thorough and honest about the good & not so good of each property.
