From the first time that we talked to her, at a house she was selling across the street from us, all the way through closing and even after, she was friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and more than amenable to our wishes, needs and concerns. Our property received an amazing number of views, both online and in person, due to her skillful marketing prowess. It sold quickly, and at a price a little above what we were looking for.

Nina Brown is amazing. As first-time homebuyers, she was our real estate agent who helped us navigate the difficulties of buying a townhouse in the SF Bay Area. Even though just buying a house is difficult enough without a quality real estate agent, our journey to homeownership was even more complicated than most. We bought our townhouse with the assistance of the AC Boost program. It provides lucky families in Alameda County that get picked through a lottery drawing financial downpayment assistance to purchase their first home. It makes home ownership affordable in Alameda County. After applying and being accepted by the AC Boost program, our search for a real estate agent versed in the program thankfully led us to Nina. Nina is an agent who isn't afraid of the nitty gritty work and figuring out the ways to get a deal done. In fact, she enjoys figuring out the process. Finding any real estate agent more competent than Nina would be hard. From our first meeting, my wife and I knew that Nina was the right choice. She is knowledgeable about the local real estate market and took the time to help educate us and help us be realistic about what we could or could not afford. She listened carefully to what we wanted and always guided us along the process, giving sage advice while at the same time closely listening to what we wanted and making sure we would find it in our new home. We eventually settled on purchasing a BMR townhouse in Oakland, which brought another bunch of bureaucratic hurdles. The whole process ended up being incredibly difficult and time-consuming. There were many times that we didn't think it would happen. But throughout the process, Nina was there every step of the way, checking in with us while working with the loan company, the seller's real estate agent, and Alameda County and City of Oakland officials to ensure the process ran as smoothly as it could. Without Nina, there is no chance we would've eventually made our way through.

I am a first time home buyer and the process was completely new to me and I required a lot of hand holding. Nina went over and beyond, she was very knowledgeable, professional, responsive and attentive to my needs. It truly felt like it wasn't just a business transaction but that I was working with someone I've known for years, that's how comfortable I felt through the whole entire process.
