Uninformed buyer to knowledgeable home owner
Everyone has anecdotes about their own home buying experience, about how the market was so crazy, or how they managed to get an incredible deal, or how they saw some absurd house with it's fascinating or horrifying unique flair. Not everyone tells you how crucial their real estate agent was in each story. How their agent's insights, assistance, and patience made the process methodical, and even enjoyable.
Nicholas Zupi helped me find my perfect first house. The process was long and complicated, but I never felt unequipped or uninformed. Nick answered a plethora of questions and explained every step, often multiple times. He understood the time limitations I had due to work and life and made himself available at all hours. I now know that a good real estate agent is on call 24/7, for buyers and sellers, especially in a market as active as the one I bought in. Nick was scheduling showing as soon as I told him I wanted to see a property. He handled all the communication, and gave his impressions of the agent and the tactics they were employing to get good offers.
During the showings, Nick pointed out so many things I would not have noticed. He recognized the good and bad renovations, the quality work by professionals, and the non-professional work by amateurs' that would need to be redone. Nick helped me to estimate how time, effort, and money potential changes I'd like to make in the houses would require. We developed a great rapport, and even enjoyed the showings, discussing the similarities and differences to other properties, sharing our joy and sometimes horror with the houses.
My home buying anecdote is about finding a great house, making a fine tuned offer (over list which appraised at my sale price!), and being comfortably in my new house, happy with the overall experience. None of that would have been possible without Nick.
I highly recommend Nicholas Zupi. He took me from a nervous, uninformed buyer, to a comfortable, knowledgeable home owner.
