Nick was the best realtor I have worked with. I have dealt with many realtors in the past 30 years. Half of them were completely dishonest and the others generally knew little of value. Nick was different. He knew the market, was up front and honest. When I told him I was interested in buying the property but had no cash, he was supportive and got me thinking of other options - getting the down payment via a mortgage on another rental property I owned. At closing it was interesting to hear that Nick recommended to the seller to clear out the basement before listing the second time. Totally the right choice for me as the condition of the basement was the key selling point of the house. Working with Nick was a pleasure.

I can't say enough good things about Nick Hall. If you have the opportunity to work with him TAKE IT!! If you don't, you will quickly regret it when you realize the realtor you chose doesn't work as hard as Nick does. Nick truly cares for his clients and wants to ensure they find the home of their dreams (I did because of him!!) He was on top of everything from the moment I first contacted him all the way through the closing (2 days ago). He has already helped me get in contact with a multitude of resources for future projects I will be performing. I imagine this superior service will continue as he has already reached out to see if there was anything else that he could help me with. For the home search itself, Nick made sure to show me all of the homes that he thought were a good fit for me. He was even willing to show the homes I found that he knew wouldn't be a good fit so that I could know exactly what I needed or didn't want in a home. He would notify me the day houses went on the market and even provided me with some off market homes. If you want the best service, a person who truly cares about your needs, and is quick to respond to all of your questions/requests; Nick Hall is the person you need! 10/10 would work with him again.

Buying a house can be one of the most agonizing experiences but I have to admit my process made for a great experience. I had been looking for a multi family property for a while and that included going to open houses. I met Nicholas on one of his open houses and we quickly determined that was not a property for me. Before I even made it home, Nicholas had already set me up with a search that matched my criteria exactly which was specific to the lakes area. A week later we were taking a look at this duplex by Lake Harriet and even more interesting putting an offer same day before it hit the market the following day. Nicholas worked into the night, coordinating a pre-approval and negotiating with the sellers realtors. From there on, he had a contact for every step throughout the process including inspections and contractors. When it came to negotiating, he went all beast mode and down to the hundreds. One would have thought it was him buying the property. Buying a property can be agonizing but having a detailed and passionate person in Nicholas, it makes everything way smoother and exciting. I would definitely recommend Nicholas and I personally look forward to working with him again.

I had a great experience working with Nicholas on the recent sale of my triplex. I appreciated his no nonsense approach, the honest feedback, and the discussions we had regarding strategy. He didn't waste a moment getting my property photographed and listed. I think it was on the market within 48 hours (less if I'm not mistaken) after agreeing to work with him. I could tell towards the end of the process that he got laser-focused on making the deal happen and his efforts showed in the resulting sale price and the short time the property spent on the market. We’d just moved to Minneapolis and met Nicholas at an open house. At that time, we’d just started looking around for a home, mostly to understand what the market in the twin cities looked like. From that first conversation, it was clear that Nicholas had a strong grasp of the housing market, not just single-family homes but multifamily as well. However, in addition to being new to the city, we are also both extremely particular and while we were first-time homeowners, we also were definitely not looking for a starter home. To that end, we went to dozens of open houses and subsequently met dozens of realtors. From the dozens we met, we ended up working with two and saw even more houses (very particular ??). It became clear that Nicholas just works harder than other realtors: finding more properties and getting a better grasp of what we were and were not looking for. Throughout the process, Nicholas worked patiently with us, even as we ignored some of his advice and had a couple of offers fall through. In the end, we landed a great deal on a home that was perfect for us and Nicholas continues to be an excellent resource even after closing.

I met Nicholas at an open house last summer. It was a multi family property and was his listing. After talking with him, I realized that he is very knowledgeable about multi family housing as he owns and manages several multi family homes himself in Minneapolis. Nicholas was very attentive and worked very hard to find me a great 4 family house in the Whittier neighborhood. The building was not even on the market, but because of Nicholas' connection to investors and landlords, I was bale to buy the building without it even hitting the market. I was also able to avoid getting into a bidding war because of that. Nicholas has been a wealth of knowledge to me as a first time landlord, and his services did not stop after closing. He continues to be a big help and support to me when I'm presented with something I don't know about being a new landlord. I would definitely recommend Nicholas Hall to anyone buying or selling a property.

Nick was great. He found me an off market deal, we moved quickly and the appraisal ended up coming in $30k more than I paid for the property! The seller was very difficult, which is putting nicely. The seller actually had to delay closing because they didn’t get the paperwork together correctly. Worse yet, the seller refused to pay any of the extra costs I incurred due to the delay. Nick negotiated them down and what he couldn’t get them to pay, he split with me.

Nicholas has now helped me purchase 2 houses and sell 1 home. He has a tremendous knowledge of the area. Any problem that came up, Nicholas knew how to manage. He is responsive at all times (even after the sale) and simply put, he gets the job done. My house sold at the price and in the time frame Nicholas predicted. I felt that Nick put in a tremendous effort for me. This effort, paired with his creativity helped me make my transition as smooth as it possibly could have been.
