Nelson and his team are excellent with their communication, knowledge and execution of buying and selling. They were all very friendly and timely with all interactions and guided me seamlessly through every step of the process. Nelson has great contacts for contractors that can take of things that come up during inspections which is was a great added benefit. Use of their moving truck (offered for free when you buy or sell with them) definitely saved us time and money vs. small car trips or hiring movers. They even went as far as hiring a cleaner for us after seeing the state of our new home when the previous owners carelessly left it a filthy mess during their moving process. This took an enormous weight off our shoulders as we had so many other things to take care of. I don't plan on ever moving again, but if I do I will be calling Nelson.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Lilia Shani and the rest of the Nelson Matos Realty team. My buying situation was a bit unique because I work commission-based but haven’t yet for 2 years. When a few mortgage brokers said “don’t shop just yet,” we dealt with one mortgage broker who was confident that she could make it happen. At the end of the day, we wouldn’t truly know until an offer was accepted and it went through the underwriting process. We made this clear with Lilia, and even though it was a shot in the dark, she made every effort to help us find our dream home, even if it wouldn’t be approved in underwriting during the final stretch. Any open house we wanted to go to, Lilia was right by our side. Within the month, we found the house to put an offer in, Lilia was on top of every single step, and we made it to the closing table. We met with the Matos team before doing any house shopping, and I knew from there that was going to be working with the best realty team around. Seriously, if you need a realtor, don’t even hesitate for a SECOND to go with the Matos team. I PROMISE you, the homebuying process will be stressful and discouraging at times, but the Matos team will be the best support system you can have during that. I can’t thank them enough for their persistence and knowledge. Without a doubt, I will be going back to them when I need a realtor again.
