My husband and I began working with Mykah Larkins about 3 years before we finally put our house of 44 years on the market. It was a complicated situation which involved having to make a decision on how or whether to sell our adjoining lot with a cottage along with our main house as one parcel. As many people who have had to make such a decision no doubt have found, it is not simple and certainly not cheap to put in separate utilities. So, we continued to let the cottage borrow the utilities from the main house. This worked well for a long time, since we used the cottage as a guest house, but when the time came to sell our property, we had to do lots of research to find out both what was legal and more profitable, i.e.,sell the 2nd lot and cottage as one with the house or bear the expense of putting in separate utilities for the 2nd lot and sell that separately. Mykah was indispensable in this process since she was able to do the research needed and to use her contacts at the city and elsewhere to help find answers to our many questions. It was an anxious time made much more anxious by the arrival of the Coronavirus. How the pandemic would affect the market and whether we would be able to actually sell our house as planned was unknown. Frequent changes of protocol as directed by the state and real estate board made accomplishing the completion of the final work on the house very unpredictable. Throughout this period, Mykah kept a positive and practical approach, which was enormously reassuring for us. In the end, things worked out better than we feared, and we were successful in finishing the house and selling it for more than we were expecting. We couldn't be more pleased and grateful to Mykah for her expert skills and confident guidance. We would give her more stars, if we could, but are reluctantly settling for the 5 provided. We recommend her unequivocally. Thank you, Mykah!
