We just closed on our new home that we purchased through Skip, and we couldn't have done it without him. We happened to come across his Youtube videos when we were still living on the east coast and only contemplating a move to ABQ. We found his videos very informative and decided to reach out to him. So glad we did. He was very patient answering our 1000+ questions. We set a date to visit the area, and he took the day to show us several houses that met our criteria. We then decided to move to the area into temporary housing, and wait for the home that was the one for us. Skip kept us up to date on what was coming on the market, and again was very responsive and patient - never pushy - showing us many more houses until we found the one for us. He was responsive and thorough as we moved through the purchase negotiations and closing stages. There were a few minor hiccups that arose during those stages where we were unsure of the best way to proceed. My wife and I had been watching Skip’s home buying videos on his YouTube channel well in advance of actually making the decision to move to Albuquerque, so of course we HAD to reach out to him when we decided to purchase our new home. The unfortunate aspect of our home buying process is that we were living on the east coast at the time and had no chance to travel out to the area and search for homes. I remember thinking “I’ll just call this Skip dude’s office and see what *they* can do for us.” When I made the call I was surprised that Skip himself fielded the call and actually talked to us about the home buying process in detail. He never once treated us like a we were a burden and he was very pleasant to work with. For about a month we did walk thru FaceTime calls with him and eventually settled on the home that checked all of our boxes. But Skip’s hard work didn’t stop there. He coordinated the sale, bridged the gap between our seller, title company, and loan officer, and contacted us regularly to answer any questions we had. Skip’s thoroughness in his review of the home and personal insight was also very reassuring. He made sure to address the small improvements that would need to be made on the home and worked hard to ensure that we had damages on the home covered by the seller before we signed.
