Monica was like our cool aunt who would tell it like it is and really advocate for us in ways we were naive about being first time homebuyers. She really establishes good communication from the get go, is always available to answer even the silliest of questions and even though she is a busy woman she made us feel like a priority. Monica took the time during our 1st discussion to explain to us the differences we would experience in purchasing a home in North Carolina. She reassured us that she would help us each step of the way, as we had multiple "to-dos", including listing and selling our home, finding a suitable home in North Carolina, and working towards getting financed for our soon-to-be-found new home. She introduced us to an amazing Keller Williams team in our area, which made things that much simpler, as they were in frequent communication with one another, saving us the time and frustration of trying to relay information back and forth between agents. When it came down to finding a home in North Carolina that would accommodate what we wanted and needed, Monica sprung into action! She really listened to what it was we wanted, and also gave us thoughtful information and advice regarding different areas of town and what each area would look like for our work commutes, our interests, and our lifestyle. She devoted a weekend to us, chauffeuring us from property to property when we decided to make an in-person trip. It was exhausting - and spectacular - and Monica was amazing throughout! Once we made an offer, Monica was available for inspections that we couldn't be present for, and was instrumental in scheduling and communicating with us and the inspectors, as well as researching questions we had, and providing us with thorough answers to every question or concern that came up. Throughout the emotional ups and downs of selling a house, finding rentals, and buying a house (while living in another state), Monica was a steadfast, kind hearted, knowledgeable resource; when she says she's got you, she really does have you, when she says she is going to call, she calls, and she gets the job done, plain and simple. This is a review of the level of professional customer service provided by Ms. Monica Cook, a real estate at the Keller Williams Realty (KWR)/Welcome Home Realty (WHR) office in Weaverville, NC, during the sales process for my parents’ home located in the Asheville, NC area. It was clearly obvious in my discussions with Ms. Cook that she possessed a remarkable body of knowledge about the real estate market in Asheville and the surrounding areas. Her ability to quickly cite facts, financial considerations, trends affecting market fluctuations, etc. involved in selling a property in this highly desirable geographic location in NC was remarkable. As someone who methodically and meticulously scrutinizes legal documents, I had many questions about the sales process and the legal verbiage in all documentation required to be executed for both listing real estate and closing on the sale of the property. Ms. Cook went ‘above and beyond the call of duty’ on several occasions by engaging in lengthy telephone conversations to address my many concerns and answer a multitude of questions I directed towards her. The efforts and effectiveness of Ms. Cook and the KWR support staff to remain in constant communications (via emails, texts, and telephone calls) to keep us apprised of the status of each phase as we progressed through the process was nothing less than OUTSTANDING. I would further characterize Ms. Cook’s commitment to excellence as being ‘second to none’. To summarize, Ms. Cook demonstrated throughout the entire process that she is a consummate professional. Based on my experience, I would unequivocally convey my ringing endorsement of her to anyone interested in retaining her services to serve as either a buyer’s agent or seller’s agent.

Monica gave us great advice about a few things to do before listing our home, and what price range we should list it in. She had a photographer come in to take really good pics and do a 360 degree tour even though we were listing under $300,000. Although some credit goes to the really hot real estate market, these details made all the difference on attracting multiple bids. We even had one offer come in before the showings started, solely based off the pictures, her description, and the attention to detail she put into the listing. I would 100% recommend that you list your home with her.
I will just lay this out there, Monica is the BEST! Monica and her team paved the way for the purchase of my home to be absolutely painless! This was a VA loan in which can be quite challenging at times. The entire process was so easy and it was all because of Monica going out of her way to handle every single little detail.
