Monica Breckenridge is the CEO of Pink Realty and Pink Real Estate. She started in real estate full time in 2007 with investing in real estate. Monica and her husband have personally fix and flipped over 100 homes in Colorado Springs and own over 100 rental properties. One of the many reasons Monica got into the real estate business was her desire to help people. Many of the homes that she bought was helping homeowners avoid foreclosure. Her biggest satisfaction is helping a client out of a difficult situation and helping them start fresh. Many of her clients become repeat clients after rebuilding from a short sale.
Monica also grew up as a military child. Having moved 15 times in her lifetime is another reason she got into real estate. She understands what it is like being PCS'd many times and moving from temporary housing to permanent housing. It can be quite stressful moving so many times. When her family moved to Colorado Springs for the first time in 1991 they knew immediately this was where her dad wanted to retire. Colorado Springs was by far their favorite place to live out of all area's they were PCS'd at. So her dad bought a brand new new build. They only got to live in the home for 2 years before being PCS'd again. However instead of selling that home they decided to rent it out. Over the next 10 years while her father was being PCS'd to multiple duty stations there were renting living in the home paying the mortgage payment and paying down the loan. By the time they moved back to Colorado Springs, their home that they rented out was halfway paid off. We personally think that was a smart move on her families part and can be a story to be shared to anybody going through PCSing.
Monica runs the Pink Team in Colorado and all her franchises are part of the Pink Team. Monica oversee’s all her agents, staff and franchises. Monica has been the #1 Real Estate Agent in Colorado Springs since 2013. In 2017 she was #4 real estate agent in the USA. This is a major accomplishment for her. A huge goal of Monica was to franchise her company. She knew she had build a good brand that rocks and wanted to grow her team nationwide with that branding. In 2018 was when Monica started franchising Pink Realty. Monica trademarked her company as well as her branding. She owns the trademark for the color PINK in real estate.
On a personal level Monica Breckenridge is an avid cyclist. You will often see her cycling on all the Colorado Springs trails around town as well as mountain biking wearing her Pink Realty Cycling Kits. Her branding works so well people often say hi to Monica riding by just because they recognize her in the Pink cycling kits. Colorado Springs has so many trail and mountain bike trail systems to offer. Monica also enjoys track cycling. We have a velodrome here in Colorado Springs where she will ride around in circles for hours. She even enjoys competing in bike races at the velodrome.
