The Mike Karras Team was very helpful and patient at the beginning of our selling journey — they assisted us with minor home improvements and preparing our house to be listed. The process to determine what our house should be listed at was a bit convoluted and unclear at times. Once we did decide on a listing price we listed our house for sale and there was immediate interest. After a week of showings we ended up accepting an offer a week later. From that point all communication was lost. As first time sellers we weren’t entirely sure what the process consisted of and would have benefited from more communication from the realtor team. We had to initiate a lot of conversation and request updates which was frustrating to us. There were a couple of requests to extend the closing date and we felt as though we were somewhat blindsided by them both times. Instead of notifying us of the possibility, the week of closing a form was sent to us to sign in acceptance of the extension and we had to continuously ask questions in an effort to try and understand. In the meantime we had uprooted and been living between houses. Ultimately, Mike and his team are very nice people that provided us with a great experience to begin and then sub-par after that. Better communication would have improved our overall experience.

I have been in real estate for 32 years. Building, buying, selling, rehabbing, flipping, 1031s, etc. In all my years I have only come across a very very small number of Real Estate Brokers who truly know the market, are wonderful people, really care about the property, are so personable that you wish you had been a life long friend. You cannot improve on Mike Karras. He is completely professional, clearly knows his business and could not possibly be a nicer, more thoughtful person. He LISTENS to you: what you're looking for, what your financial situation is, what elements of your new home are critical, what is a nice-to-have, and what you do NOT want.
