In 2024 at 4 months pregnant with our 4th child we went under contract on our dream house —or so we thought. We put our house on the market shortly after and within 8 days we had an all cash offer. Win! Fast forward 2 months and we get to the closing table. Our buyer signs the documents but their funds never came in, the next morning we lost the dream house. This is at the end of 2024 and coming into an election and the end of the year, the market was awful.
