Our experience felt very hands-off. After the initial pitch, we were set up on an automated email list and ended up finding most of the homes ourselves. Communication was minimal, which made planning a weekend trip from out of state stressful—we often didn’t know what showings were scheduled until last minute. When we came to town, she showed us a few houses, then had to leave for a personal commitment and gave us builder codes to tour homes on our own. We found a new build we liked, she submitted the offer, and we closed without any negotiation. After that, there was little follow-up, just a card asking for referrals. It would have been nice to feel more supported, especially being out-of-state buyers who relied heavily on our agent’s guidance.
