We shopped for houses mainly on-line since we were buying from out-of-state. We looked at a number of houses and frequently contacted Michelle and her team with requests for additional information and ultimately to place a bid on a house. We never lost a house because we placed a bid too late. Michelle usually suggested that we modify out bid, usually lower than the asking price and that always worked out for us, as well. We ended up putting offers on four houses before we finally purchased a house. In some cases the pictures were deceiving and in most cases we found that the houses needed too much work after going through the inspection process. Michelle was patient while we went through our purchase process and we ended up with a house that we are extremely happy with. She recommended a very good house inspector that kept us from several houses that would have been money pits had we purchased them. We appreciated Michelle and her team's help as we purchased our house and would recommend her to anyone looking for a house.

Michelle was good to understand what I was looking for. She did an excellent job in explaining what it would take to win the bidding for different houses that we looked at. She correctly recognized that the seller for the house I ended up purchasing would take a lower offer, which saved me $10k. And when the inspector that Michelle recommended discovered roof damage, she negotiated another $5k in concessions.

I interviewed 4 realtors for the sale of my property in Lexington. Each had their own approach which is understandable. Michelle was the only one who was prepared, at the time of our meeting, with an understanding of the area, the property and a realistic price range. I don't live in Lexington so having someone familiar with the area market and experience in dealing with out of town sellers a crucial for my agent. Michelle was also the only one to walk the property and ask specific questions about what would/would not convey. Frankly, after she left my wife and I had a peace about her as an agent. We didn't feel that we were a means to some personal agent goal...it was all about how best to market the property and what we could realistically get for it. Michelle, like other realtors made recommendations on improvements that we might consider. She also explained the impact on pricing for each which helped us decide what we wanted to do or not do. Once that was decided I asked Michelle about contractors, again I don't live in the area. She gave me two and said they were reasonable, efficient and would get the work done when they said. After the work was done Michelle called the contractor with a few items I had missed (BTW, the contractor told me that Michelle would do that because she follows up on all the jobs he done for her clients). We got the property listed and within 7 days had an offer which was more than we originally discussed. It didn't take long to make our decision and we had a signed contract. Throughout the whole closing process Michelle kept us informed and made signing documents long-distance very easy. If I had another property to list or was searching for one Michelle would be the only realtor I would call. If you are looking for a realtor, it would be well worth your time to talk with Michelle. Again, just an AWESOME experience!
