Being an advocate is something that has been in my blood since I was a child. Having a brother diagnosed with autism and who was also nonverbal, I learned at a very young age how to speak up for the wants and needs of others. This followed me into my adult life where I spent 18 years in special education as a para educator, advocating for the students I worked with. In 2020 I decided that I wanted to advocate for a new group as a realtor. Nothing is more satisfying than helping someone find what they are looking for from start to finish. I love that part so much! Having grown up in Birmingham as a child, I know the area extremely well. I graduated from John Carroll Catholic and went to both UAB and Samford University. As an adult, I have spent most of my adult life living in Shelby county, the last 20 years living in Helena. I have lived in Chelsea, Pelham and Helena so I know Shelby County areas as well. Knowledge of these areas has helped me build trust in clients. I can always be counted on to know the best fit for their wants and needs and stay within a budget as well. The simple fact that ARC stands for "A Relationship Company" was reason enough to be here! Not to mention all the amazing people I have gotten to call friends! Building relationships is the reason I am here! When that happens, advocating and communication is second nature to me at that point because I want what's best for the people work with! I am looking forward to helping and advocating for as many people as I can as a realtor for ARC Realty!
