June 2023 - Michelle Bassett represented a home seller. That sentence profoundly understates what Mrs. Bassett actually did to bring in TOP dollar on a challenging sale. The home had been lived in for 50 years with limited upgrades. Dis-repair, no. Ideal to sell for top dollar, NO! The cluttered house became available in Dec 2022 with a serious need for some work. It needed to be sold quickly too. Hemet has a selling season. Folks don’t like to buy homes in 100+ degree weather. Mrs. Bassett helped organize the work that needed to be done for best results. She helped arrange the work (her recommended trade’s people) and oversaw the trades to ensure everything was up to standard. Some redo’s were required but because these folks often work with her, they are highly motivated to keep the relationship strong. She was also focused on value for the future buyer as well. Not the cheapest quality/price improvements, rather quality that will last the new buyer for some time. She kept the process on schedule and budget. A lot of extra work on her part! She knows the market, timing and pricing The home received 5 offers in 4 days. Some above the asking. She suggested I not chase the highest offer, to the determent of her compensation, and pointed out strong reasons for not doing so. Great recommendation. Took a lower offer with fewer hurdles. When hurdles happened, they could have been solved with a reduction in price, she stood firm on there being other options. Anyway, her professionalism helped work through the issues. I believe maximum dollar was achieved. No concessions!! Michelle Bassett is a professional TOTALLY focused on you. When you work with her and her Agency, you are enlisting someone who will work incredibly hard for you. Like she is planning to do 50+ more transitions with you when the reality is, maybe just this one. I can only imagine what she would do for a buyer. You cannot go wrong, period!
