When he’s not busy landing deals for his clients, you can ﬁnd Mike landing at a local airport. He is a private pilot and loves to see how everything looks from above. He is dedicated and continues to work hard, helping his clients achieve their real estate goals. Mike was raised in Piermont, NY, with two siblings and an incredible Hudson River view. He is now married and living just across the river in Tarrytown, located in Westchester County. Mike got into the real estate industry after retiring from the NYPD as a Lieutenant. He also managed to start and run a licensed home contracting company during that same time with his brother Eric. The company did many general home repairs and renovations. They specialized in kitchen and bathroom renovations and attending special training to design and install custom concrete countertops. Having this background has made him well-rounded for the dealings involved in the real estate industry. Mike is currently working with HomeSmart Homes and Estates and enjoys working on both sides of the Tappan Zee bridge in Westchester and Rockland Counties. Mike found his stride working with all types of clients but has a soft spot for the Rivertowns along the Hudson River. When Mike isn’t selling homes or spending time in the sky, he loves to spend time with his wife Tara, who is currently at Temple Medical School, pursuing her dream as an Emergency Medicine physician.

I closed on a 4 family investment property, in Piermont, NY 7/23/2021. This is the 3rd investment property and numerous rentals that Mike Holmes has brokered and assisted me in purchasing and renting. This last property had multiple offers. I got it because of Mike's expertise, particularly forming a great professional relationship with the sellers broker. He connected me to the attorney, the mortgage banker, the home inspector and more - One stop shopping. He went above and beyond. He would keep in touch with all the players, making this a smooth and effortless process for me. Now he has got to rent out the apartments available. No rest for you Mike. Thank you Mike.
