Mellanie Thorum

This is the second time I’ve used a Mellanie. She is driven and successful in selling homes. Has ideas that will bring more $$ to the table and utilizes strategies that produce multiple offers out of the shoot.

Very professional, but yet personal and understanding to the situation. Watches out for her customers needs and sometimes stupid questions!

I recently had the need for a realtor to help me sell a home and that's when I met Mellanie Thorum from Exit Realty. Mellanie came to our first meeting very prepared with research results, she had done, regarding homes that had sold in the area and what prices they had sold for, etc.. She laid out a plan for what she could and would do for me to make my home sell quickly. Mellanie laid out a time line and stayed in touch with me weekly (and sometimes more often) to give me help and understanding as to what was happening and to see if I had any questions. She is very good with her communication skills. As soon as the home was cleaned out and ready to go, Mellanie was there to "stage" the home and put it on the market. She staged it during the week and held and open house on that Saturday. She called me on that evening and told me that the foot traffic was very good (the mark of a great marketing process), and that she had received 5 or 6 really good offers. We met the following week and chose a buyer. I was very grateful for Mellanie and her expertise, professionalism and marketing skills. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a home sold quickly and professionally, or who needs to buy a home. She is very thorough in the whole process.

Melanie has helped me buy and sell in 3 transactions. She is a skilled communicator, understands the local Utah market, has a keen sense market strategy (in a dynamic interest-rate market) to get top dollar for selling these house. For example, Mellanie even managed some basic repairs and staged the house. I highly recommend using Melanie as your real estate agent in buying or selling a house in SLC valley. Her hard work, listening and professionalism make the difference.

Mellanie made our home buying process so easy! We worked with her a year ago but decided it wasn’t our time to buy. Mellanie is very knowledgeable and helped answer any questions we had along the way. She is diligent and was present at meetings we had throughout the process to help represent us. Mellanie worked very hard to get my Mother's condo sold. She kept us updated throughout the process. She also gave us productive ideas to help sell the home. I found her to be very professional and I would highly recommend her to get your home sold.
