Melissa was my real estate agent right in the middle of the covid19 pandemic. I lived in California and was looking for a retirement home in Denver. I consider my boyfriend, soon to be husband, and I, to be fairly picky. I did not think it was going to be an easy task to find our dream home remotely, since I could not visit the homes and we had a tight budget and big ideas about what our home should be and have. We looked, liked some homes, Melissa would study the homes, the HOA's, the neighbourhoods and would give advice. In some cases she told us no. "I don't think that this house is for you." In others, she drove to the property took videos of the place. We studied them. We even asked her to take some more pictures and videos if we were not sure. BOY WAS SHE PATIENT! We finally found the home we liked and put in a bid. She fought for us. After closing, Melissa was still there. She did the final inspection for us, made sure that the repairs were done. She even helped with the transport of our things that were in storage in California. She made sure that when the trailer arrived to the house, that everything was safely stored in the garage. When we decided to remodel our basement, she got the contractor and made sure that when I flew over from California to Denver, that everything was in place so that I could in a short weekend instruct the contractor and explain all the work that was needed for the remodeling. Melissa was not just our real estate agent; she is a friend, a family member that really cares.
