Melinda was born and raised in Concord, California, where she developed a profound appreciation for home construction and the real estate process from her father, a local contractor. Melinda remains in the family home that was built by her father in the late 1940s; she understands the importance of being connected to the community she serves.
Despite an initial interest in real estate, Melinda took a detour to the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied English and later spent years teaching at the secondary school level. Melinda considers her background in education to be relevant to real estate as she effectively walks clients through the process from start to finish. She is a strong believer in a proactive approach to transactions and clear, consistent communication with her clients throughout it. Melinda utilizes this strong communication for third-party services as well, working closely with home inspectors, stagers, contractors, and brokers alike to protect her clients’ best interests. Her clients appreciate the effort: 95% of Melinda’s clientele are either repeat clients or referrals.
Melinda finds incredible joy in assisting clients in attaining the home of their dreams.
