Melanie was one of the best realtors I ever worked with. She is extremely knowledgable of the area (Jacksonville, Orange Park). Willing to take all the extra steps to put any concerns at ease. Gives thoughtful advice based on expertise and not based on trying to make the most commission. This is often in realtors. I've had many experiences with realtors in my budget tier taking long to respond, not willing to do even the bare minimum but draw up a contract. If you are matched with Mel consider yourself lucky. I wouldn't use anyone else in North Florida.

Amazing!! So I actually considered selling this property FSBO before searching for a Realtor online and then finding Mel. Well, very quickly I learned going with an experienced RE Agent (Mel) was a great decision. I am so glad I went with her as my Real Estate Agent!! From the very start she knew not only the basics (area, market values, market conditions, etc) but she was really familiar with the vast amount of requirements needed to bring the house up to current Codes (many) that were required for buyers to get their loans and insurance. I thought my house was “perfect” and ready to move it, lol. Little did I know I still needed quite of bit more work to do to pass certain inspections. Well fortunately for me, she also has a team who can handle most of this work, so working with her (and Gregg) was very easy and much more cost effective than hiring someone else. I only wished I had her team do most of the house work from that start vs the many other misc workers I hired! In the end, I was very pleased with her work, the many meetings she had to go to at the property to meet people (Agents, workers, inspectors, etc), contract negotiations (many), int/ext decorating, etc. . Honestly, at one point I felt that I was never going to be able to sell this property, but she convinced me to have patience, and in a very short time we had a contract on it and it eventually sold to that same buyer with no issues. If/when I decide to sell another property in the future with a RE Agent, I will be sure to contact Mel again without any hesitation.
