To properly explain what Megan means to us, we have to take you on a little bit of our journey as new home buyers. Megan is amazing. My wife and I had been searching for a home for the past 3 years, with no luck. We got hooked up with Megan and within 3 months, we found the neighborhood we wanted to live in, we figured out the risk we were willing to take, and we understood all of the most important factors we wanted in a home. Now that we knew where we wanted to be, it was time for us to search for homes. The first few homes we looked at were nice. Then we found the perfect home. We were so excited and submitted an offer that we felt was fair and competitive. Unfortunately, we found out that we were outbid by someone who was paying more than us with an ALL CASH offer. What a wild thing to do. It was tough to move on from that home, but Megan made us realize that there were going to be challenges like this along the way, and that we gotta be tough to make it through, especially here in the Bay Area. We sucked it up and started our search again, this time armed with Megan's tenacity and understanding of us as a young couple, and what we needed to continue forward in our lives. It was very soon after that we came across a listing for our (now) home. From the pictures, it looked decent, and maybe not even a perfect fit, but Megan convinced us to check the place out. From the moment we walked through the front door, we knew it was exactly what we were wanted. It checked all of our boxes, with a whole lot more than just the absolute needs. It had a bunch of our wants as well. Through Megan's connections, we were able to fight past 28 other offers to get over the hump and finally have an accepted offer. 28 offers is insane...and without the clear communication between Megan, the seller's agent, our loan officer, and us, there would be no way that the seller would have accepted our bid over others. Megan deserves her 5 stars.
