Megan was our buyer's agent. She was also the seller's agent. I was completely unprepared for how good Megan is at her job. I've bought and sold several houses. As a part of that process, I've learned what the realtor is good at and what they're not so good at. Megan is great at all of it. She grew up here and has deep knowledge of the community. She took great care of us and turned what could have been a very difficult transaction into a smooth one. The seller did not honor some parts of the signed contract. Megan went to bat for us and made sure the contract was honored: When moving out, the seller took some house fixtures that were supposed to convey with the house. Megan made sure that these items were returned to us. Instead of clearing things out, the seller's left many possessions in the crawlspace. Megan hired workers to come in and take care of the situation before we moved in. When the seller moved out, they took all the light bulbs in the house with them. Megan replaced all the bulbs! At my request, Megan supplied names of contractors to do some repairs to the house before we moved in. The contractors she suggested did excellent work. When we arrived at the house to take possession, we discovered that Megan had put a big gift basket in the kitchen with champagne, champagne glasses, flowers, fruit, delicious snacks, dishwashing liquid, dish towels, paper towels, etc. Everything we needed for our first night in the house! After the sale, she acted as a resource-- answering questions about the neighborhood, introducing us to our neighbors, etc. I could go on with more examples of how she went above and beyond for us, how great she is at communicating, solving problems, and honoring her commitments... She's a spectacular realtor.
