Before choosing a real estate agent to sell our condo in McLean, VA, we conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property and how they promote their listings. The FASS Results Group Team stood out as the best choice: their reviews are excellent, and their total sales in 2020 were strong. We spoke with Megan and Julie in a Zoom meeting. They spent an hour answering our questions, providing objective data regarding current market, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info in the area. Based on the conversation, we decided to go with Julie as our listing agent. She then developed a marketing plan that included repair suggestions, open houses, advertising, etc. All the data and estimated costs were in a Google drive file, shared with us. Julie and Denise (teammate) were extremely responsive and very pro-active on communicating with us. They made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't. Julie suggested having a staging pro to do staging and having professional photographs, and provided 50% cost sharing. The staging was amazing, which made the condo much more attractive. When we saw our listing, we were blown away. Julie’s hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing. We had an offer within one day on the market. Our condo went under contract 3 days after we put it on the market at the asking price. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. To anyone in the market in the DC metro area, you know how cut throat it is here. You NEED a top realtor in this area in order to end up with the right home. Katie Grieco is simply the BEST in her field. Not only is she an absolute joy to work with, making the home buying process so much fun, she is also attentive, HONEST, informative, and well connected to seemingly everyone in the industry (which is more important that you realize around here). Katie goes through the home buying experience WITH you. She truly wants the best home for you, and would never try to push you or upsell you to make a sale. When we went looking for homes together, while I was walking around admiring the home, she was looking for things that would cost us money. She was looking for mold, uneven flooring, cracks in the foundation, old HVACs and water heaters, water problems etc. She also walked us through the pros and cons of owning a home in certain areas, neighborhoods, streets etc. On top of all this, Katie would spend time assembling comps for homes we really liked to show us whether the homes we liked were really worth the money. THEN, when we actually found a home we wanted and went to put in an offer, THE MOST STRESSFUL TIME, Katie was an absolute angel. She guided us through every single step. She helped position us to have the most competitive offer we were comfortable with, she walked us through the contract in detail to make sure we were 100% comfortable before signing anything, and celebrated with us like it was her own home when we got the house. I just adore Katie. We would have never had the home of our dreams if not for her. If you select her as your realtor, you will never look back.

We met Megan and her team while purchasing a home in McLean for which she acted as the Seller's agent. We were impressed with the manner in which they staged and marketed the home and handled issues leading up to the closing. After successfully purchasing the McLean home, we retained Megan and her team to represent us in the sale of our Fairfax townhouse. Megan, Nicole and Denise promptly arranged for repair, painting and cleaning of the townhouse. The contractors she hired were excellent, and they gave top priority to our job. Megan also gave great recommendations for how the interior of the townhouse should be painted and lighted. Megan and her team also arranged for the townhouse to be staged beautifully and marketed the townhouse professionally. As a result, we received an offer to buy the townhouse at above asking price prior to the scheduled open house. When issues arose leading up to the closing, she responded promptly and addressed the issues successfully. Thanks to her team, we were able to successfully close as scheduled. Needless to say, we would highly recommend Megan and her team!

The main takeaway of this review should be that choosing anyone other than Katie and the FASS team as your Realtor would be a disservice to yourself. This can be illustrated by our situation. THREE days before we are set to close, our lender contacts us to tell us they made a major error and would not be able to close on time. We would have lost all of our earnest money and the perfect property that we had spent months looking for. Katie (at 6 am) immediately contacted the lender as well as the seller to SAVE the deal (that had other offers) and get us an extension. She is the only Realtor in NoVa that you want in your corner. Throughout our entire process, Katie and her colleague Denise were reliable, responsive, and had our best interests in mind. We NEVER felt rushed through the process. To the contrary, Katie and Denise were careful to point out all the pros and cons of potential properties that we had never thought of. My wife and I will never use a different Realtor as long as we are in the area.
