She is wonderful - we immediately got along. She was very observant and quickly understood how important various things were for us. It was easy to trust her for the pieces of homebuying I'm not familiar with, everything from issues with the property value to all of the paperwork. I have several friends moving to the area and I've recommended her to all of them. She knows the area well and helped me zone in on the areas that met all our requirements - and our interests were definitely multifaceted, specific and a little bit unique. She negotiated closing costs and a pile of the seller's equipment I was interested in, and even helped sort out minor issues with the sale of my previous house. Maya was instrumental in helping us close on our land purchase. We live in the San Fransico Bay Area in California and could not be in NC for much of the buying process. Maya was not only responsive, she took all of our feedback and made the most of our time on the east coast. Maya's awesome!! I'm a first time homeowner and knew nothing at all about the process. Maya did a lot of handholding with me and was very patient with my ignorance. On more than one occasion, I'd be skeptical about what she was telling me, but every time she was proven correct. She definitely knows what she's doing and she knows the area very well (my home's in Cary). She understands the workings of this market as well as the seasonal trends which are crucial to gauging how the homes should be priced and what we should go for. Her experience also enables her to go into a house and immediately identify what would need to be changed and/or fixed as well as the more problematic aspects such as lot sloping...etc. Finally, and very importantly, she's been extremely responsive. She'd respond to every house I'd send her way and was the one to get me the house I ended up buying. There's a lot more I could say but this would make the review way too long.
