I'm an Elder Law and Estates lawyer, often have to dispose of real estate to settle an estate, or for someone going into nursing home, assisted living, etc. A client was taken to a nursing home this past year, blind and physically deteriorated; lived alone, so had to sell his residence to pay bills.
