We began our journey in the middle of the pandemic and if anyone brought or sold a home during that time knows how hectic things were. From day one Mary held our hand and we truely feel if she didn't we would not have even thought about selling our home and bowing out of the whole process gracefully! Mary sold our home and also assisted with buying our new home. During that time offer after offer rejected and we were always so close to giving up. We were buying a home across the country, during a pandemic when the Stockmarket was on a rollercoaster. We were very stressed with our original realtor, and needed more guidance. A close friend recommended Mary. When we switched, she immediately made us feel more at ease. Her knowledge about Southern Maryland is extraordinary, and she was able to book tours for homes we were interested in almost immediately. She went to the homes and provided excellent virtual tours for us, and then followed up with personal insights about the house and surrounding area. "How about living next to a cemetery?" When we placed bids, Mary suggested ways to make our offer as strong as possible within our constraints. Her negotiation skills are masterful, and when our bid was accepted, Mary was able to guide us through the process seamlessly. Her attention to detail, and timely and smooth communication skills ensured a smooth transition, even when the listing agent had difficulties. Mary ensured we met our 30-day settlement goal (still can't believe we did all that in 30 days!) and has still been in touch post-settlement. At this point, we consider her a good friend!
