We had a nice house that needed updating but didn't care to put much into anything major. The house was in pretty good shape, so our plan was doing some cosmetic work and selling. Mary Beth visited the house, recommended a couple of major updates, and showed us how the numbers worked out. We trusted Mary Beth and went with her plan--and we're so glad we did! She listed the property and very quickly brought us a great buyer. Thanks to her recommendations and hard work, we sold for far more than we thought we could get. I'll close with this. We're in the real estate business and have dealt with more realtors than I can count over the last 25 years. Most, frankly, don't know that much about the market and just want to do some data entry on the MLS then drop the price every couple of weeks until it sells. That's not Mary Beth! She has great knowledge of the market and has worked in this area for a very long time. She also worked very hard and put in lots of time working out and carrying out a plan that got us a much better deal than we anticipated. Mary Beth earned every penny of her commission and we are so glad to have worked with her. Next time we need to buy or sell property, we'll be calling Mary Beth Shealy!
