My home sale was complicated due to an ugly, five-year-long battle with a billion-dollar insurance company's homeowner's claims' process. As a result of being referred to an unlicensed, uninsured remediation contractor with no bonding, (as discovered by my City's investigation), I was forced to sell the home. This illegal contractor had already ripped out all ceilings, drywall, insulation and wiring and placed all household contents in three disparately located storage facilities in three counties far from my home's location in Oakland County, Michigan! Mary Beckerman succeeded in selling the home.

I went with Mary on many showings, including rental options, condos, and single family homes, and she was knowledgeable in any space. She was always understanding when I decided against a place, and was proactive about sending more options my way. It was Mary actually who found my dream home. She saw it the week it was coming on the market and got me in for the first of 37 showings that weekend. She helped me put together an attractive offer, and thanks to her, my offer was chosen out of 14. Mine was not even the highest bid, but we told my story and were able to make a connection with the sellers that I believe is what set me apart from the other offers. After the offer was accepted, Mary was there every step of the way--from the inspection to the closing, she was by my side. As a first time homebuyer, the process was a lot to take in, and I can't imagine having done it without Mary. She connected me to an excellent mortgage lender, a thorough home inspector, and a professional title company. She even sent over lunch on the day I moved in because she knew it would be a busy day. Mary is professional, knows the tricks of the trade, and can make miracles happen! I will be sticking with her for any future needs, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new home, especially first-time homebuyers. She's communicative, patient, flexible, and savvy where it counts. I have Mary to thank for my new life and for so many memories I will have here in my new home!
