Selling a multi unit property is a laborious process but Mary handled each of the houses, and the tenants within, with such detail that nothing was missed and each tenant enjoyed a personal touch. In a changing housing market of ups and downs in the fall of 2021, we asked Mary Arnold to look at our home and property after our renters vacated. Although we felt overwhelmed, with Mary we sensed we were not alone in this project. She helped us get past the discouragement and emotional attachment to the home and to concentrate on a time-line to work on the things we could accomplish on our own while waiting for the availability of licensed professional contractors and supplies. Mary wasn't afraid to advertise and list the home before the necessary clean up and repair work was done, though. This steady push helped us make the home more valuable and attractive to buyers while moving us toward a seemingly impossible year-end deadline for a buyer who wanted a move-in ready home. She pushed us to change directions as vendors became available for quotes and repair work and moved us toward the escrow closing date. She never let us get discouraged and kept checking on our progress, providing her professional contacts, and sharing some great ideas. We worked on what we could do on our own, but without her vendor contacts, perseverance, patience and encouragement, it wouldn't have been possible to meet the deadline. Mary was able to contract for us the most fair and satisfying sale we could have imagined. Without Mary to explain real estate transactions to us and nudge us and our vendors along the way, the sale would not have been completed by year-end.
