I initially met Mary Ann at an open house. She seemed so friendly and outgoing and immediately inquired about my feelings about the house, what I was looking for, and where I wanted to live. Although I was not her client (yet), she spent time with me and offered lots of advice about various other locations I should consider. Even though my husband and I were not 100% set on buying our first home, Mary Ann was patient with us and willing to provide a lot of education and direction. Once we were more seriously looking, Mary Ann helped us navigate through the overwhelming disclosure packets we started reading and she readily and efficiently offered feedback and advice on trouble-shooting possible house issues. She was quick to offer references for every type of work and more detailed advice when indicated (i.e. foundation specialists, plumbing issues, electrical, roofing, pest control, etc.). When we visited open houses, many of the listing agents knew Mary Ann and always said something similar to "Oh, you're in great hands!" After many months of searching for the right neighborhood, we found the home we wanted to bid on. Mary Ann gave guidance about best strategies to win the bid and when the offer date came, she went above and beyond by driving 20 miles away to present our offer in person and she coordinated with our lender to give multiple angles on our bid. We got the only house we bid on! We are in the midst of some remodeling projects and Mary Ann has not disappeared. She is doing a video of our projects and continues to readily offer advice and resources. Mary Ann is aggressive, but not in an overbearing way, and knowledgeable about the market. You will be in good hands if you choose her.
