In case you doubted the 5 star review we left for Marlin in 2018, here we are in 2020 buying another property and we couldn't dream of doing that with any other realtor! It is seriously all ace's when you're working with Marlin. We checked out this home on a Sunday afternoon and that night he was putting the work in to get us under contract by the next morning before we had our first cup of coffee! We couldn't be more thrilled with how well this purchase went! Something I especially value about Marlin is his being there for the inspection of the home. He asks questions, points things out and really investigates what we could have concerns with as a buyer. I don't know how other realtors operate but with Marlin I feel more confident with the home purchase because he ensures we aren't walking blindly into it. Marlin was also an advocate for us and kept our lender moving forward when it was difficult to make sure everything would be complete in time, with the CV-19 issues going on all around. Everything went smooth form signing the listing agreement and scheduling the Professional Photographer to presenting us with multiple offers AFTER FOUR DAYS ON THE MARKET! Had some lender issues on the buyers side and Marlin pushed the ball forward & kept us informed all the way thru. Great experience and I’d highly recommended him and his Firm.
Marlin is one of the best brokers I have ever worked. I am in the real estate business and have met MANY brokers in my day, he is literally one of the best. He is incredibly thoughtful and really takes the time understand your needs and more importantly, will go the extra mile to make sure those needs are met and really be your fiduciary, which is very important. His experience in all facets of real estate is also really helpful as he can tell if the roof looks a little by example. We were bidding on a house where the seller said the roof was new, and Marlin disagreed, and it turned out, he was right! I still cannot believe that we met through a random Zillow lead as I was interested in a home in his area. I am certainly going to be working with Marlin for years to come as I accumulate a portfolio locally in Sarasota and simply cannot recommend him enough. You will be in good hands!
As experienced home buyers we had a bunch of different expectations in our next home purchase. Marlin did an excellent job in meeting and surpassing our expectations. He made himself available whenever we were in town to look at homes and pointed out different aspects of the homes that we may have missed given our tight schedules.
