Marlene was very personable and helpful. I purchased my home from out of state, & she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
We chose Marlene as she had good reviews online and seemed to have a good amount of knowledge and experience. We would not use her again or recommend her. She relied heavily on some unseen “Broker”’s knowledge and advice, and listed our home for more than we had asked to list it for, putting us over the line for many searching in our area, when we were in a time crunch to sell our home. The photos taken by Marlene were not flattering of our home (the cover one didn’t even show our entire home exterior) and we even had to take our own photo to add to Zillow to get more views. At the overly inflated price, we had to rapidly drop the listing price to even get a single showing. We didn’t get any showings for 9 days, even being the only home for sale in our neighborhood! We only got that showing after dropping the price $15k, and even then we only ended up selling it for $25k under the listing price. During that time, Marlene left the country for a conference without telling us and was not even in communication, so who knows how many other showings we missed. Despite making over $10k in commission costs from the sale of our home, and knowing our closing date, Marlene did not bother to show up for the closing. Instead, she emailed us the night before closing saying she wouldn’t be able to make it since she had something else to do. She never contacted us again after getting her $10,000+ from the sale of our home. Not so much as even a card to say “hey thanks for all of the money!!” I hear about other friends and family getting nice gift cards or baskets from thankful and helpful realtors. Ours didn’t bother to help, and didn’t bother to show up. If you want a realtor to take money from you they did a very poor job of earning while you get rolled over on a poor home sale price, Marlene is the realtor for you. Would not use her again and would not recommend her to anyone.

We were promised a few things and never got them with our house. She was great with communication and was always on top of the papers we needed to sign and get signed.
