had a disappointing experience with Marla. She never disclosed her commission upfront—I only found out in the first offer contract. She also locked me into a six-month "Exclusive Right-to-Buy" agreement. On closing day, I discovered she had checked the box requiring me to pay the buyer’s agent administration fee without informing me. Even after the contract expired, she kept pushing for payment until she ultimately covered it, but the damage was done. Her bidding strategy was flawed, causing us to lose two offers. She also claimed to know contractors but refused to share their contact info when I needed it. Her inspector missed two major leaks, despite our concerns, proving ineffective. Initially responsive, her communication dropped significantly after the inspection. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend working with her.

Marla was fantastic to work with. She helped us look at several properties and gave honest feedback on aspects to consider with each property. Her wealth of knowledge of the process reassured us throughout the buying experience and continuously reaffirmed that she was great at her job. Her understanding of the local market gave us peace of mind in a hot area in town that we were looking to buy in. We are thankful because she was able to negotiate a great price and good terms for our purchase. She even helped us close a week earlier, and without her persistance, I don't think that would have happened. She asked the right questions to make sure we were on track and poked people at the right time to ensure things were moving along. Again, Marla was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive, incredibly helpful, and just a nice person to contemplate your biggest home aspirations and even the nightmare avoid-at-all-cost housing scenarios with. Marla’s efforts did not stop at closing. She helped us with a few of items that the seller did not fulfill that made the move in more difficult. Marla saved us time, money, and alleviated the stress by holding the seller and their contractors accountable.
Marla listened to what we were looking for off the jump. She is always easy to get ahold of and answered ALL of our questions. Being first time home buyers there was a lot and she was so patient with us. Marla always had the answers and educated us along the way. She is also a badass negotiator!
