...and there were quite a few. I can not recommend Mark’s services enough. His professionalism, communication and expertise made the process enjoyable. From start to close Mark was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. I honestly don’t know if I could have done it without him.

Mark has sold two properties for me, both in record time, both at top dollar. He is savvy, diplomatic and hard working. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Our family recently used Mark, and his team, to sell a house and a piece of property, associated with our family estate. Both properties presented some very unique challenges along the way, including working with the town to secure permits, reworking easements, and dealing with the usual family dynamics. Mark's was very creative in coming up with suggestions as to how to make both of these properties marketable. His knowledge of the market, along with his understanding of the processes involved with working with the local zoning boards for approvals, etc. proved invaluable. Provided with an esoteric set of parameters, Mark found us our dream home, communicating efficiently and exhibiting total professionalism with a couple of first time buyers. Seven years later, he has outdone himself in staging and selling that home, bringing it to market with equal ease and smoothing the process for us in a frenetic market. The outcome of our experience with Mark has proved more than we ever could have wished, and we cannot recommend him enough to anyone new to or experienced in the ways of the Island. Our real estate transaction was very complicated. It dealt with a private owned house on leased land that was owned by a corporation. In addition, the neighborhood added a premium to the value of the property. It was immediately evident our first agent didn’t have a clue how to handle the property. We turned out attention to Sotheby’s and was extremely fortunate to have Mark and Bonnie assigned to our property. They were very familiar not only with the neighborhood, thus added premium, but also with how the real estate transaction between the corporation and buyer needed to proceed. Further we had multiple offers that needed to be rebid. The winning bidder’s bank decided it was not familiar with this type of real estate transaction and pull out 24 hours before the closing. This happened when the buyers were globe trotting in Europe. Further while this was going on, multiple issues with our house popped up that required addressing. Mark and Bonnie kept everything afloat and on tract. They provide us with all the vendors that we needed for our issues, all whom immediately responded in a very timely manner. They pointed the buyers to a local bank that was familiar with the real estate transaction and the purchase went through. I have done many real estate transactions and Mark and Bonnie were the best we have dealt with considering all the issues involved. We would highly recommend them without reservation.

Mark was entirely professional and beyond that he was kind. As international buyers who have loved the Vineyard for thirty years, we still found ourselves navigating a complex purchase. Mark showed patience and grace. In the end, his local knowledge helped our dream come true.
