Our home buying experience was a long one. As out of state buyers, not only did we rely on Marjorie to inform of us of state and local laws, tax rates, etc... (of which she is a library of knowledge) ...we also had to rely on her expertise when it came to quality, different neighborhoods, and her willingness to drive all over COS to show us homes virtually. Showing homes virtually presents its challenges but Marjorie was ready, willing, and offered enough personal opinion to make her honest, but not enough to 'sway us'. The tightrope between being a professional and being personal is a precarious place for many; not Marjorie. When we finally got to see a few homes with her in person on a trip to Colorado; she was more like an old friend, not a realtor. Very few can pull off her level of professional excellence and still 'keep it real'. Marjorie Watson delivers exactly what one hopes for in the complicated modern process of selling a home. Out of the gate, she was right with pricing. My home and land, sold for very close to what her suggested valuations. Not easy when it is not clear if the market is going up or down. Her knowledge of how to get the photos perfect was a great help. Even showing up with some art to compliment some bare walls. She watched paperwork and contracts with an eagle eye. Catching numerous mistakes before closing. Her husband is an added bonus, an expert at pounding in a sign, disassembling a refrigerator, or finding a home for an old lawnmower.
