Everyone should have an agent like Marissa. She gave off good vibes when I first met her. She's personable, knowledgeable and took the "headache" out of the home buying experience. She was very patient with me (an admittedly indecisive person) and worked tirelessly until we found the perfect fit. Marissa is the best realtor we've worked with in 20+ years of buying and selling homes. Given that we are staying in our current home for a little longer, but looking for our next home, our finances were a bit challenging. Marissa worked hard to offer us a number of viable options for paths forward. She then made the most of our limited time together to find us a house that meets ALL of our needs, at a price that works for our situation. We appreciate the fact that she got us in to see the vast majority of the places we requested, and her enthusiasm is boundless! Marissa guided us through the negotiating process in a thoughtful and helpful manner. She would explain various options and share her opinions when we asked... but ultimately she always said that she'd do whatever we wanted to do. We took her advice every time, and we're glad we did. Marissa helped me sell my duplex in Detroit in record time for a fair price. However, it wasn't until after the contract was signed did I realize how much beyond the call of duty she is willing to go. There were multiple title issues with the property. The purchaser's bank was reluctant to close, but Marissa attended to every detail and stayed in touch with the bank, title company, purchaser and city agencies until all issues were resolved. I am convinced that most other realtors would have never concluded the sale because the bank refused to close. She gets 6 stars in my book.

Wow, where to start? We were first time home buyers who knew relatively little about the process of buying a house. We'd had a few false starts with other agents who didn't seem to care much about our experience or slow down enough to really get to know what we were looking for. Then...we starting working with Marissa. It was immediately clear to us that she was in a different league of agents: knew a ton about the local real estate market (which is tough to understand), was patient and happy to walk us through any moments of confusion, and made us feel comfortable making a choice on our own terms. Soon after we found a gorgeous place that we are thrilled to own and closed on in thereafter. Could not recommend Marissa more highly, especially in the local Detroit market where you have to beware of sketchy agents out to swindle you. Very highly recommended.
