I met Marie through my friend Andrea Augustine, whom I also consider family. After three months of searching on my own and contacting the listing agents about properties, I realized I might never find the home I was looking for. I called Andrea and asked her about the agent she had mentioned, and with excitement, she began to tell me how Marie had helped everyone in her family. All the other people she had referred had nothing but good things to say about her. Before I could finish speaking with Andrea, I received a call from Marie. We had an interview on Zoom and began finding a home; I only had 4 months to move. Because of the interview, Marie knew exactly what I was looking for, which made things easy for us both. Within a few months, she called me about an unfinished property that she had already spoken with the sellers about before calling me (which I thought was great). We discussed the property, and she set up a showing; after looking at the property, we discussed the best price and offer strategy because the property was still in the process of being rehabbed. What I like most about Marie is her knowledge and willingness to give her opinion. And, as an owner of a business, it is what I appreciated her most and the fact that she called and negotiated with the seller before calling me about the property.
