I was friendly with Marcus when we were kids and later in life I had seen his name on a Patterson Schwartz listing in my own neighborhood and made a mental note to reach out to him if I ever needed an agent. My mother passed away in October of 2023 and as executor I needed to sell the property, so I looked up or reached out to Marcus through his profile on the Patterson Schwartz website. I reviewed his profile on the PS website first as I needed an agent who was licensed in both PA and DE. After seeing Marcus's accomplishments on the PS website I was confident that he would be the right person to sell my late mother's house. The entire process was handled with class and professionalism, the house sold quickly and for a good price, I was given ample time before settlement to clean up, and the settlement process was taken care of efficiently. I don't have much experience in selling a home and I relied on Marcus's expertise on the price, showings, and offers. He did a nice job of explaining some of the ins and outs of the bidding process after offers started to come in, and we were both in agreement when it came time to pull the trigger on accepting an offer. Also, Marcus provided names of needed contractors, or made recommendations, to deal with some minor drywall issues and also assisted in my selling some furniture to the buyer outside of the settlement. I was happy to advise my brothers that Mom’s home sold quickly, I was happy to complete this part of closing my mother’s estate, I was happy to see that my old friend was doing well as Patterson Schwarz, and I would recommend Marcus to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the near future.
