I am writing to share my experience in working with Marc Childers and his wife Kathie as they really deserve a 100/100 stars. I could not be more thrilled that Marc made one of my lifetime dreams come true in a more than challenging real estate market. The 2020 real estate market in Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and surrounding areas is tough, to say the least with properties flying off the market in hours. Marc was able to schedule a virtual showing within hours as I was out of state and ensured we were well-positioned for an offer. Having been through more than 17 real estate deals in three states in the past 20 years, I feel qualified to provide a candid review having seen the good, the bad and the really ugly. Marc's level of innate professionalism, knowledge, fortitude and extensive contacts/resources were the magic that made this deal happen in a wild wild west scenario. Above and beyond, even after the property closed, is what Marc Childers is all about. I am already considering purchasing additional properties only because I know I have Marc at my side.

Marc has been an excellent real estate agent for my family. We interviewed several agents and chose Marc for his experience, knowledge of the area, and personality. Marc and his team were amazing to work with in buying our first home in the North Carolina High Country several years ago that we wanted to work with him and his team selling our home years later, and even purchasing land to build! Marc and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, patient, extremely responsive, which is hard to find in the High Country, and he was willing to go above and beyond to help us with aspects of buying in the High Country that are not always prevalent. He and his team worked hard for us and in every scenario we were able to either purchase or sale at a price we were happy with.
