Being an immigrant first time home buyer is such a daunting thing, given that I could have not asked for a better realtor than Malin who made it as smooth as possible! Here are my reasons why you should have Malin with you on the process! 1. Clarity in the process : I would have literally asked 10,000 questions from the beginning of the process till the closing. Malin had answered all the questions not in a word but always with a brief explanation - This helps you give clarity and confidence to go through the process. 2. Responsiveness & Pro-activeness : He always responds, like always, there has never been a time we said that we are waiting to hear back from Malin. And he was always proactive with the next steps, when we had a tough seller, he always came up with options on how to move forward tackling the situations! 3. Being honest! : I think it is very most important, because Malin did not set me up for unrealistic expectations (I wanted a single family house in Arlington with a big yard for 450K duh!!!). He helped us to pick our dream starter home :) 4. Negotiation skills : This was the best thing! he added clauses when and where it is needed, as mentioned above he always came up with solutions and stood for us and made us so comfortable in taking the decisions. 5. Arlington Expertise : He knows the in and out of Arlington. He helps you understand everything you need about the county and the comps which was really helpful! 6. Last but not the least, he is an awesome friend too! he always goes above and beyond for recommendations, I have reached out to him for recommendations from door bell to an electric light. Even after the closure I know I could reach out to him for any clarifications or questions! All said he is the best out there!

Malin came highly recommended from BOTH of my sisters-in-law, who also recently bought homes in the Arlington area, so we knew we were in good hands. We saw the house on a Friday, put an offer in on Saturday morning, and the offer was accepted the very next day! We found out later that Malin had written a note to the sellers on our behalf, which ultimately sealed the deal! He truly went over and above to get us into our dream home. Cut to a few weeks later, and we closed on the house! We are SO happy here in the Douglas Park neighborhood in Arlington, VA. We truly could not have imagined a smoother or better experience in buying our first home thanks to Malin!

Malin knew what to do! He was our seller's agent on a house we recently listed in Pimmit Hills. We used the house as a rental prior to sale, and the house needed a bit of a refresh. Malin arranged for a contractor to start in less than a week (which is quite a feat these days), and he handled all the details of the project, like paint colors, fixtures, prioritizing fixes, etc. Needless to say the house looked great and was under contract at the asking price within 10 days, even while other comparable houses took longer to close. This is the second time we've had Malin help us, the first time was as a buyer's agent, and he's been great both times.

From day one, Malin had a plan to get my Condo on the market and sold quickly. He was open and honest with me and ensured that I understood the timelines we were under to get the property renovated and to market. Malin educated me throughout the selling process and took away a lot of the stress by doing this. His ability to assess the property and any updates needed versus the reality of the listing price was sheer perfection. As a result of his knowledge & guidance on necessary updates and selling price, the property had an offer after 9 days.
