Lou Zucaro

We purchased a home for which Lou was representing the seller and we're still taking the time to write a review -- that should tell you something! Lou does a great job of representing and safeguarding his clients. Throughout our purchase process, he did his best to answer any and all questions we had as buyers and served as a clear, responsive communicator for his clients -- always doing what he could to help us while maintaining their privacy. Additionally, his passion for midcentury real estate is a great treat. Thank you Lou!

Lou was great through the entire process. Always available for questions. On day 1 we had 9 showings and 4 competitive offers at or above asking price. Lou was very reasonable during negotiations too. If there were things we wanted, he had our back. Was also not afraid to tell us if we (or buyer) were being too unreasonable. Lastly, the night before our walkthrough of the close, he came to our house and did his own walkthrough to make sure the house was in great shape - taking pride in what he sells. I came to greatly appreciate this when we bought our new house (different selling agent) and the sellers left a lot of junk, light switch covers with crayon written all over it, cracked light switch covers et al.

We were very excited to move from the Seattle area to the Chicago area and were very determined to find a mid century home. My husband found Lou through some internet searches and I'm so glad he did. Lou went above and beyond what we expected. We found ourselves in Chicago for a last minute trip and contacted Lou to see if we could get some showings in with short notice. This was our first contact with him. He brought us to any house we asked and sent us some listings he had found. His knowledge of mid-century architecture was very helpful and I'm glad we had him in our corner. We found our dream house that week, made an offer (actually multiple offers as there was a bidding war!) and we were able to close in less than a month! Lou is always quick to respond and we couldn't have sealed this deal without him. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again (although I don't think I will need to for a long while!) and recommend him to friends.

My wife and I had not been involved in any type of real estate transaction in over 20 years so when it came time to sell my parents home we not only had the stress of not being familiar with the "process" involved in selling a home but for me, the emotional stress of selling my parents home, the home I grew up in; in stepped Lou Zucaro. Lou was extremely patient and informative throughout the process, when we were faced with a few "challenges" during the closing Lou thoroughly explained the options and helped us overcome the challenge. An example was having to address the issue of radon. Never in my life have I had to deal with radon, Lou helped my wife and I through the remediation process, providing recommendations for companies, and helping accelerate the remediation so that we could complete the closing as scheduled. I can't imagine having gone through the sale of my parents home without Lou's help. If ever my wife and I need a Realtor, there is no needing to decide who to choose, it will be Lou Zucaro.
