The lack of homes on the market right now, with vast amounts of perspective buyers, forced us to be “on our toes” 24/7 when it came to scheduling to look at properties and deciding whether or not to make a offer. Many agents and sellers even used this opportunity to schedule open houses, despite our offers being “on the table,” so that they could take advantage of price gouging between 10-15 different offers. Dirty and greedy! We had lost offers on 3 previous properties, despite offering 30-40k OVER asking price. Yes, that’s not a misprint. And many we lost bids to were because we weren’t like those stupid buyers who were willing to bypass a Home Inspection or Septic Test. I speak of our purchase experience only to illustrate the point of how important and necessary it was for us to have someone like Lisa Lewis as our agent. Lisa was always on top of her game all of the time! No matter what time of day, and sometimes even into late evenings, Lisa would always respond to my texts and do her absolute best to ensure and accommodate that we were able to look at properties at the earliest opportunity.
