Impeccable
Linda has been here for me yet again; I sold a past home with her, and was relieved to reach out to her again to find this home ( sanctuary!) as I am going through a very difficult and stressful time in my life. Aware of this, she has gone above and beyond to guide me though a first failed purchase attempt, then this successful purchase of the perfect home for me. In the case of the first failed attempt, I relied on Linda to make sense of issues with the title, and, we felt, dishonest characterization of the issues by the seller’s agent. She helped me to feel confident in my decision regarding when it was time to walk away. As to the home I purchased, she worked her magic representing me to the seller, such that my offer was chosen from amongst 7 offers. This is particularly noteworthy, as, in what could only be described as the 11th hour, my parents, after signing the purchase and sales agreement ( they had planned to purchase the house for me to help shield it from contentious divorce proceedings) got cold feet and wanted to back out, or, as they mistakenly thought could work, have me buy it and help me in an alternative fashion. Obviously, the buyers could have walked away but Linda plugged away at the situation late into the night with the sellers… she convinced them to sign a new P&S with me- an astonishing feat in this situation and this market. And there’s more- at her recommendation after the inspection, despite the sellers declaring the house “as is,” we successfully negotiated $10,000 off the asking price when an unexpected issue was identified. In summary, we have been plugging away at finding me a home in this market and in the midst of a contentious divorce since May, and her support and expertise have been invaluable to me. Next up is putting the “ marital home” on the market, which yet again is unlikely to be without some drama, but I am confident and relieved that I will again have Linda in my corner,
