You would be hard pressed to find a better realtor than Leslie Heindel. She has seemingly infinite knowledge of New Orleans real estate and is committed to expanding that knowledge. Anything you need, and even the aspects you don’t realize you need, she is on top of it and makes sure you know what’s going on and why. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with such a huge life decision. She will advocate for you as if you’re family.

From start to finish Leslie was there to answer all of our questions and handle a couple small issues before closing. When picking an agent I think it’s important to find somebody who’s in it for the long haul and that describes Leslie! It’s not a part time gig for her but a full time job and obviously her passion. I was also blown away with her photographer and how nice the listing photos looked. Most people shop online these days and I honestly believe the photos helped to sell our house in s challenging market. In conclusion this was a great overall experience and I’ve bought and sold countless houses over the years. Hire this agent!!

I can't recommend Leslie enough. We needed to sell our house after moving out of state. Leslie was spot on with pricing, repairs we should make, who to use to do a final cleaning, etc. There was no point either of us stressed about the house after we moved because Leslie was on it. She even went by and checked on the house after a hurricane rolled through because we were out of state. Above and beyond is an understatement. Highly recommend!
Leslie is not a fair-weather real estate agent. Many come and go through positive market cycles but she is the real deal. She was very patient throughout the process as she showed me several homes and was very honest regarding condition, upkeep, and price. She was not a salesman just trying to move a house to get a commission but someone who genuinely cared about me making the right choice. I have several friends who have used her (one buying three homes with her so far) services and she is the absolute best. Down to earth, easy to talk to, and not pushy at all...sign me up.
This was our 3rd time working with Leslie and Heather and as amazing as they were from the start, somehow they keep getting better! They’ve brilliantly led us through the buying process twice and now the selling process too. They made sure we were prepared each step of the way. Despite all the Taylor Swift shows on the calendar past and future, Leslie and Heather were absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish. This was not the easiest of transactions but they took each challenge (and international arena show) in stride and got us to the closing as promised. TL;DR: There is no reason to use other selling agents in the Greater New Orleans area. As the headline indicates, my family and I decided to move across the country on a tight timeframe. If that wasn't enough, the offer that we placed on a brand new house in my hometown in CA was contingent. We had a week to get our house in Mandeville, Louisiana ready to sell in order to meet the tight deadlines associated with our new home (and to make the move before school started in California.) Leslie Heindel gave key advice on what to focus on to get the house ready while she did the research that would get our house sold quickly. The photographer that she worked with put together an insanely elegant package that was evidenced by how many people wanted to view the house within an hour of putting it up. By the end of the day we had an offer for full price, which we accepted. Run that back: We had the house ready in a week and a full price offer within 8 hours of the listing going live when the average time on market for our area is 30 days. That tells you it was priced correctly and that Leslie and Heather use the right vendors and contacts to get your home seen to be sold. After the offer was made and throughout the inspection process, Leslie held our hand and soothed our worries (so much was riding on this sale). We were not rude, but also not easy easy customers. Leslie met us where we were to keep us focused on our move forward and not our past. We moved to CA a month after the house went up for sale and Heather Shields handled the closing for us so that we could get our son started in school. The care, responsiveness, professionalism, and intuition of this team is unparalleled. There isn't a better experience to be found in their market.
After the Be New Orleans sold my home in Gentilly, helped me get settled after an unexpected wrench was thrown into a house I was purchasing, they then helped me seal the deal on my current final resting place.
