We contacted Leslie to list our home of 24 years so we could downsize. It is a great home but our love for wood was not shared by many of today's buyers who seemed to only be looking for white kitchens and woodwork. After consultation with Leslie we decided to "stage" the home but leave the wood without painting it. The late winter weather took a toll on potential buyers willingness to venture out and begin home shopping but Leslie kept our spirits high. We dropped the price to help encourage traffic and still things were a little slow. Finally, the weather turned and Spring arrived. After a couple of weeks and considerable hard work by Leslie, we found the right buyer for our home. The negotiations went extremely well and closing will be in a few weeks. We honestly had second thoughts about painting the woodwork and redoing the kitchen but the right buyer was out there for our home and we just needed to find them. So glad we had the steady hand of an experienced agent to guide us through the slow times! We know the new people will love the neighborhood and they can now complete whatever changes to the home that make sense to them. We had several discussions on what we should do to market our home and in the end patience and good marketing found just the right buyer. We could not be more pleased with Leslie and her team on completing the sale of our home!

Before meeting Leslie we were working with another agent who was taking days to respond to emails and clearly not making us a priority.
