As a second generation Oregonian I grew up with a great love of the land and all that Oregon has to offer. After high school, I graduated with a degree in Aviation and Business Management. At 17, I migrated to Australia to become a bush pilot. During my seven years in Australia, I bought land and built and designed my first home. From digging the foundation to finishing the hardwood floors and securing the roofing, I was a hands on builder. This gave me an in depth knowledge of construction that has proved invaluable.
I migrated back to the US in 1988 and immediately obtained my Real Estate license. After three years experience, I became Principal Broker of Metro-West Realty, where I managed two offices and up to 18 agents.
When I acquired my Real Estate license, Appraisal and Property Management training were included in the curriculum. When determining an appropriate list price for a home, I approach it as an appraisal.
I utilize all my skills to successfully market, negotiate and close my transactions. I’ve received awards for top 1% of Agents in the US and have sold over 20 million in volume in the past 2 years. Having decades in the business I have built up an extensive referral network and knowing the right people can help your transaction proceed more quickly and smoothly. My connections within the industry help to ensure that your needs are met with the least amount of inconvenience to you. I am a highly motivated, determined individual who has an instinctive ability to satisfy the specific needs of each of my clients. After 30 years in Real Estate, I’ve sold almost every type of property including office buildings, equestrian farms, apartment complexes, gas stations, condo projects, subdivisions, estate homes, vineyard properties, lake and river front homes, aviation properties, investment properties, industrial buildings, commercial leases, bank owned and short sale properties, homes on land and homes in the city/neighborhoods. I have also been contracted to work for the State of Oregon as an expert witness in Real Estate specifically on the Coffee Creek Correctional project and for the US Marshall service on seized Real Property sales.
Today my hobbies include gardening (I have an extensive organic veggie and fruit garden), horseback riding, hiking, biking, snow and water skiing, surfing, golf, tennis, travel and interior design.
I currently sit on two boards; Aves Lab (a Bio-Tech firm), and am President of Friends of Parrett Mountain.
